Phase 2: Core Documentation & Evidence
Travel Medical Insurance Mandatory. Must be from a company operating in Spain, with a minimum coverage of €30,000.
Acceptance Letter Official letter from a recognized Spanish educational institution confirming your enrollment.
Proof of Tuition Payment Receipt showing you have paid the required tuition fees or deposit.
Academic Transcripts & Diplomas Your previous educational certificates and records.
Proof of Accommodation CRITICAL. Provide a confirmed rental agreement, a dormitory reservation, or a formal letter from your host in Spain covering your entire stay.
Phase 3: Proof of Financial Capacity
Bank Statements Last 6-12 months of statements showing sufficient, stable funds to support yourself (approx. €600-700 per month of stay).
Proof of Income Employment verification letter, pay slips, or business registration documents (for you or your sponsor).
Sponsorship Documents If applicable, a notarized sponsorship letter and the sponsor's financial documents.
Phase 4: Additional Formalities
Medical Certificate Required for student visas; must be issued by a recognized physician stating you are free from infectious diseases.
Police Clearance Certificate Required for student visas; must be issued within the last 3-6 months.
Biometric Data Required for residence permits; includes fingerprints and a photograph.
Document Legalization All non-Spanish documents (except recent bank statements) must be apostilled (or legalized) and translated into Spanish by a sworn translator.
